Information for Academic Visitors
We welcome applications from academic staff based in overseas institutions wishing to visit the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences (PPLS).
At the moment we can only accept applications for virtual visits, although we hope to be in a position to accommodate applications for campus visits in spring 2022. This will be reviewed in October 2021.
Academic visitors can conduct a range of activity during their stay at the School. This might include collaborating with members of staff on research projects, establishing academic networks with our staff and exploring opportunities for future projects. Information for successful applicants
In advance of your first day please contact your academic sponsor to arrange a welcome meeting via Microsoft Teams. The School Operations Team, will email you your university user name (UUN)/log in information.

Letter of Introduction
Please contact the School Operations Team should you require a letter of introduction. Please note this is a standard letter for all academic visitors and cannot be altered. We will require a note of your address in your home country.
