In advance of your first day please contact your academic sponsor to arrange a welcome meeting . The School Operations Team, will email you your university user name (UUN)/log in information.

Letter of Introduction
Please contact the School Operations Team should you require a letter of introduction. Please note this is a standard letter for all academic visitors and cannot be altered. We will require a note of your address in your home country.

Accommodation in Edinburgh
You can book University accommodation direct https://www.edinburghfirst.co.uk/hotels/.  You could also check with local letting agents in Edinburgh (please note they are not affiliated with the University of Edinburgh)

IT
If you have any IT (computing) issues then please complete the IS Helpline form on the page linked to below. Unfortunately we cannot provide IT assistance on any personal equipment.

Opening a UK bank account
Please open the attached form, click Open in Desktop App to complete the form and send it to relocation support.  UHRS will then issue the letter as stated.
