Bilingualism research group

Discussing theoretical and experimental issues in bilingualism and language acquisition.

For this academic year, the Bilingualism Research Group will be merged with the Developmental Linguistics Research Group. Therefore, the joint research group is also known as the Bilingualism and Developmental Linguistics Research Group (BDLRG). This group is open to any anyone at the University of Edinburgh who is interested in theoretical and experimental issues in bilingualism and/or language acquisition. We meet for an hour every fortnight to discuss our work and/or papers on typical and atypical (bilingual) language development, acquisition and processing.

Time and place

Unless stated otherwise, the regular day and time for the talks will be from 12:10pm – 1:10pm on Mondays. All talks will take place in-person/online, and we will send you the information to join the events well ahead of time.
