Ellie Palmer returns to the podcast, this time, to chat to Alasdair Richmond about the philosophy of time travel. Physics has told us all sorts of counter-intuitive things about time. Time passes at different rates for different observers, time can even pass in different directions for different observers. If you take that seriously, the potential knock-on of our ability to understand our power of free action; our ability to understand our identity; our understanding of laws of nature; even our understanding of computation is going to need a bit of overhaul and that is something to which I would like to contribute.
