Pre-award support

The School of PPLS Research Office provides a suite of services that comprehensively support academics and researchers in applying for both internal and external funds designed to support academic research projects. For further information contact Mel McLaughlin, Rebecca Moody or Ashley Johnson.

Post-award support

Once funding for a specific research funding has been secured, the PPLS Research Office offers a range of services to support principal investigators (PIs) to set up their research project and ensure this operates smoothly. For further information contact Katia Hervy or Ashley Johnson.

Open access and research data

Ensuring as many of the School’s academic outputs (journal papers, book chapters, monographs etc.) are openly accessible is a significant role of the PPLS Research Office, as is supporting academics to assure data generated through research are appropriately managed.

Knowledge exchange and impact generation

Working as part of the PPLS Research Office, the Knowledge Exchange and Impact (KEI) Team supports researchers and academics in promoting their research and its outputs to produce impact amongst non-academic audiences.
